having problems in keeping the house worm.

The pitchers are of the inside of the duck work.
There IS NO BOTTOM it is rusted out.
Just think of how cool the Attic was in the summer…
Just think of how worm the Attic is in the winter….

Hewett Attic (pictures Before Energy project)

This is Pictures of Mr. Hewett’s Home during a HERS test being performed.
Look at the different pictures and keep looking at our post to see what the changes
are after KC’s Energy completes the Project.

This is the Blower door. It polls air out of the house,
to find out were it is leaking.

This a picture of the Duct Test.

This house house 2 AC units, we do the same test
on both of them. The duct work is new but still is leaking a little bit.

This a good example, the AC unit is pulling in the Attic air and insulation in the living environment.

The answer is YES!!!
Look at the ceiling, it is cracking. You ask why?
When your Exhaust fans are not INSTALLED and DUCTED Properly the air pulled out of the bathroom during a shower is hummed. “Wet” What could happen when you mix… water, Insulation, Sheet rock,…… Answer…. MOLD
In this Home there is No Mold, but do you wont to take the chance at Your Home.

In the Attic looking down. Not only does it have Holes in the Sheet rock it also has no Insulation around the area.

This is a picture of a couple Recessed Can Lighting. You see the Light. If you can see the light from in the house I would be willing to bet that it is also leaking air into the house.

This another for of Air Leaking into the house. It is pulled out of the attic and down the wall to your wall plates. (Electoral Plugs, Light Switches, ETC) You can fill the holes in the Attic with Foam, and install Foam Insulation pads behind the plate covers.
Don’t sound like it would make much of a difference but it does.

Speakers off the surround sound. Leaking air, and not enough insulation around the area.

Installing mastic on all the but joints on the sheet metal work, again does not look like it would make much of a difference but it does.

A leak is a leak!!!!

We try to seal off any were that there might be a potential leak. Now or in the future.
You are paying $$$$$$$$$ BIG BUCKS when you turn on you AC/Heater, why not keep it in the Living space of you home.
